We will be going over a little bit of everything. So if you missed the August Parent meeting you should really try to stop by the Band Room and get up to date. Hope to see you there!
Welcome to our family. We are glad you have elected to be a part of the Highland High School Marching Band and Colorguard. Here at Highland High School we train the best musicians to perform at their best. The success of this program centers on pride, commitment, and the willingness to work hard to achieve our goals and objectives. With your hard work we can make this band one of the finest marching bands in California.
As a member of this organization you will make long-lasting friendships and develop a sense of camaraderie that is unique to our program. As the director I expect each student to develop short-term and long-term goals for his/her musical and equipment skill development. I also expect that each student who commits to this program will accept the responsibility to perform to the best of their ability and help others achieve this goals.
David McCaslin - Band Director
Between now and August 30, 2017 the Highland HS Band Program Members are looking for Foster Families for 1650 Rubber Duckies. The Adoption Process can't be easier, simply use this linkhttp://www.duckrace.com/antelopevalley/teams/6256 and select the number of Rubber Duckies you would like to Adopt. That's it! You don't have to do anything else, not even feed them. What you get in return is a chance to win $1,000,000 if your Adopted Ducky wins the Water Duck Race. Every Ducky you adopt is your entry into the Ducky Race and $2.00 is donated to the Band Program. This is the best way to help your Band Member to meet their Goal.
